It's not what you think...you're looking at the leaves of a Texas Star Hibiscus.

As part of the "Daily Photo" family, I will post a new pic of Cypress, TX every day...as long as I don't forget. Come see a small town trying to run away from the big city. (That would be Houston.) And scroll to blog end for the complete list of Daily Photo Blogs. Enjoy!

Sorry I missed Theme Day

A little distracted here, my mom just went back in to the hospital. I'm going to be sporadic with the posts for awhile.

Riniroo,

It's me -- Greg. You know, one of your best friends. Cheryl and I don't know how / when to approach you right now. We know you're going through a ton, but you know what? We love you, and are right here (in Malaysia!) for you. Please call us if you need us (or skype). Tomorrow we are flying for our 18th anniversary -- to be celebrated in Bangkok. But please know you are right in the middle of our thoughts. Really.

Hi, Renee, I know I haven't talked to you forever, but I wanted you to know that you and your family are in our prayers. I know how hard it is being so far away. It sounds like you and your mom have a wonderful relationship and she is so proud of all of you. My mom spoke with your mom last week and wanted you guys to know that you and your brother and sister and their families are more than welcome to stay at my mom's house. I know you all have been traveling back and forth. My mom has a crib, high chair, and toys. She is actually here with me in Dallas for the next couple of weeks. Please call if you would like to use her house while she is here with me or when she goes back to Indiana. My number is 817-477-2978 cell 817-937-7661. Please let her know if there is anything she can do to help you all out. I wish I was there to help too. I am so sorry you are going through all of this. Love, Mary
